Need new furnitures

I am currently browsing online for best designer furniture. We need a new sofa couch and a couple of book shelves in our home. Our old sofa is wearing out because we bought it second hand in an Estate sale two years ago. We are uncomfortable with it now and we do not want our visitors to feel that way too. I like it modern and elegant style that fits our cozy simple home.

The above picture is our living room. I thought it was bigger that time but when we added furniture in it like sofa, couch and my husband’s middle sized grand piano, the space got too small.

We bought a futon as our temporary sofa at that time. We realized it was very uncomfortable for us and especially to our visitors as well. At present, we took it out to our front porch after we found a sofa from an estate sale. It is now a little bit comfortable but I need to add more cushions into it. You can notice at this picture that we took out the artificial fire place like in the first picture so that there will be more space for the piano to slightly touch the wall, and a space to walk through between the futon and the piano. I thought the wallpapers were very nice the first time we got here, but when George came along, he ripped the wallpapers from his reach. Our walls now are now ugly. And I think I have a major interior designing to do with our house. I have to rip all of the wallpapers and then paint the wall.
